Nothing here is invented. The institutions are real and cited; the plates are generated and have no author. What that means.

Fifteen organisations, every one verified against a primary source. The pass found a dead domain, a broken link and two descriptions that were simply wrong.

The catalogue goes up as forty generative plates. No image files are stored; every drawing is computed from a seed on the way out.

NiMAC: Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre, Associated with the Pierides Foundation
Contemporary art centre in the historical centre of Nicosia, housed in the renovated Old Powerhouse building. It describes itself as the oldest and largest contemporary art centre on the island, and was inaugurated on 14 January 1994; the building’s restoration received a Europa Nostra Award the same year.

Crossing at the Ninth Hour
Three grids of parallel lines drawn over one another and rotated about the centre: one at zero, one at a small angle between 1.2 and 7.2 degrees, and a third at a negative fraction of that angle in an accent colour. The interference figure is never drawn. It is what your eye does with three grids that do not quite agree. This plate is seed 619467694 in the Buffer Grey palette.
