Art in Cyprus

Galleries, museums, artist-run spaces and schools across the island, the real ones. Everything below links out to the institution's own site.

Every entry was checked by hand against a public source, wherever possible the organisation's own website, and shows that source and the date. Entries are re-checked every 180 days; anything past that is flagged rather than presented as current. 4 of these institutions publish a feed, and what they announce is relayed unchanged to the wire.

About this list

This is a hand-curated directory, not a scrape. Each entry names the source it was checked against, so you can see where a claim came from and how old it is. Descriptions are kept to what kind of organisation it is and where. It states no opening hours and makes no programme claims, because those change and a stale claim about somebody else's institution misrepresents them.

Anything current comes from the institution itself. Where an organisation publishes a feed, its own announcements are relayed to the wire with its headline, its link and its date, and nothing is added. Where it does not, this page sends you to their site rather than guessing on their behalf.

Corrections and additions are welcome, with a source. The listings sites in the directory above are fuller than this page and better maintained for anything time-sensitive.
