Provisional the Green Line, generative plate from seed 2459297282Forty-six bands stacked from the top down, each one a closed shape lying between two sine curves of differing amplitude, frequency and phase. The bands overlap, because each advances the cursor by only 62% of its own height. About one band in six is filled in an accent at higher opacity than the rest; the stack stops early if it runs past the bottom edge. Where it seems to hesitate, that is the rule doing what it always does. It has no idea whether it worked.

A rule with no opinion produced something that appears to hold one.

The drawing exists for as long as you are looking at it.

Second the Green Line, generative plate from seed 921757497Streamlines through a fixed vector field. Each of 220 lines starts at a random point and takes 110 steps of five units, turning at every step by the sum of three sinusoids of its current position. A line stops early if it leaves the plate. Roughly one line in seven is drawn in an accent rather than the ink colour, and each is given its own width and opacity. This plate is seed 921757497 in the Kyrenia Blue palette. © 2026 artcyp.com
