Untitled (Two Registrations), generative plate from seed 1404702949Streamlines through a fixed vector field. Each of 220 lines starts at a random point and takes 110 steps of five units, turning at every step by the sum of three sinusoids of its current position. A line stops early if it leaves the plate. Roughly one line in seven is drawn in an accent rather than the ink colour, and each is given its own width and opacity. This plate is seed 1404702949 in the Buffer Grey palette. © 2026 artcyp.com

Approach to Copper Spoil, generative plate from seed 105230285One rectangle divided recursively. At each node the split usually runs across the longer side, at a ratio between 0.3 and 0.7. Division stops at depth eight, below 34 units, or on a 7% chance at any node. Every surviving cell is stroked with an inset, about one in five in an accent, and about one in ten also takes a translucent accent fill. The rule ran once and stopped where it was told to stop.

It arrived complete, which is not the same as arriving resolved.

Second a Dry Cistern, generative plate from seed 2438108752Nine centres, each emitting 34 closed rings whose radius grows as the 0.7 power of the ring index, so the spacing tightens as they widen. Each ring is a thirty-segment polygon pushed off true by a sinusoid whose amplitude grows with the index, and both stroke weight and opacity fall away as the rings get larger.
