Notes on the Salt Crust, generative plate from seed 217198180Streamlines through a fixed vector field. Each of 220 lines starts at a random point and takes 110 steps of five units, turning at every step by the sum of three sinusoids of its current position. A line stops early if it leaves the plate. Roughly one line in seven is drawn in an accent rather than the ink colour, and each is given its own width and opacity. This plate is seed 217198180 in the Carob palette. © 2026 artcyp.com

Late Skouriotissa, generative plate from seed 3796569457Three grids of parallel lines drawn over one another and rotated about the centre: one at zero, one at a small angle between 1.2 and 7.2 degrees, and a third at a negative fraction of that angle in an accent colour. The interference figure is never drawn. It is what your eye does with three grids that do not quite agree. This plate is seed 3796569457 in the Carob palette. © 2026 artcyp.com

It could have been drawn on paper in 1968 by somebody very patient.

The system has no preferences. It has parameters.
