After the Salt Crust, generative plate from seed 2515388031Nine centres, each emitting 34 closed rings whose radius grows as the 0.7 power of the ring index, so the spacing tightens as they widen. Each ring is a thirty-segment polygon pushed off true by a sinusoid whose amplitude grows with the index, and both stroke weight and opacity fall away as the rings get larger. It could have been drawn on paper in 1968 by somebody very patient.

It arrived complete, which is not the same as arriving resolved.

Late Standing Water, generative plate from seed 626183151Streamlines through a fixed vector field. Each of 220 lines starts at a random point and takes 110 steps of five units, turning at every step by the sum of three sinusoids of its current position. A line stops early if it leaves the plate. Roughly one line in seven is drawn in an accent rather than the ink colour, and each is given its own width and opacity. This plate is seed 626183151 in the Troodos Pine palette. © 2026 artcyp.com
