Forty plates published, each reproducible from its number

The catalogue goes up as forty generative plates. No image files are stored; every drawing is computed from a seed on the way out.

Written by this site about itself. There is no byline because there is no reporter.

Untitled (the Venetian Wall), generative plate from seed 3602367494Streamlines through a fixed vector field. Each of 220 lines starts at a random point and takes 110 steps of five units, turning at every step by the sum of three sinusoids of its current position. A line stops early if it leaves the plate. Roughly one line in seven is drawn in an accent rather than the ink colour, and each is given its own width and opacity. This plate is seed 3602367494 in the Kypros Copper palette. © 2026 artcyp.com

The catalogue is live: forty plates, numbered AC-1000 to AC-1039, drawn by five systems across nine fixed palettes.

Each plate is stored as a catalogue number, a system name, a palette and one 32-bit seed. That is the whole record. The drawing is generated when you ask for it, which is why the same plate is identical in the page, in the social card and on the animated canvas, and why there is no image directory anywhere in the project.

There is no artist attached to any of them, and no date of making beyond the day the batch was published. A program was written and a machine ran it; the catalogue records what can honestly be recorded about that and stops there.
